Welcome to the English-language side of J.L. Sólyom.

While most of my music is created in Hungarian, I also create songs in English whenever the idea, atmosphere or emotion calls for it. I don’t follow a fixed formula or a predetermined musical plan. I simply create the music I would personally love to listen to.

My English songs explore different sides of rock and metal — from modern nu metal and alternative metal to melodic hard rock, industrial elements and darker, more atmospheric sounds.

Every song starts with an idea, a feeling or a moment. From there, the music takes its own direction.

My English-language songs are part of the same musical journey as my Hungarian work, but they allow me to explore different themes, expressions and atmospheres.

Alternative metal. Nu metal

Some songs are aggressive and powerful. Others are emotional, dark or melodic. There are no strict boundaries — the only rule is that the song has to feel right to me.

Industrial elements.

If a song can give me something as a listener, then it is worth creating.
